- 1348 yazında Avrupa'yı toplu ölümlerle sarsan veba salgınından kaçmaya çalışan yedi genç kadın ve üç genç erkekten oluşan bir grup, şehri terk edip Floransa'nın kırsalına sığınmak için yola çıkar. Birbirlerini eğlendirmek ve yolculuğa devam edebilmek için on gün boyunca her biri aşk hikayelerinden kahramanlık maceralarına uzanan onar öykü anlatacaktır. Modern hikaye anlatıcılığının babası olarak bilinen bu yazar yedi şahane kadın anlatıcı takdim ediyordu. Demek ki umut edilecek şeyler vardı. -Elena Ferrante Avrupa hikaye anlatıcılığının ilk büyük başyapıtı. -Hermann Hesse Daha fazla göster
