Toote üksikasjad
- What if the bond with your dog never truly ends?Looking for Czar is a heartfelt and deeply personal memoir by Wil Dorsey that explores the profound connection between a man and his beloved dog—one that transcends time, memory, and even death.Years after Czar’s passing, Dorsey experiences a vivid dream visitation in which his dog delivers a simple but powerful message: “Don’t forget about me—and don’t forget about us.”From that moment, a journey unfolds.Through intimate storytelling, Dorsey reflects on the day-to-day life, loyalty, and adventures he shared with Czar, while exploring universal themes of love, trust, grief, memory, and acceptance. Woven throughout the memoir are original illustrations and personal photographs, capturing the soulful essence of a dog who was far more than a companion. What makes this story uniquely transformative is the author’s perspective on nonverbal and intuitive communication—a skill he began developing as a toddler while connecting with his younger sister, who was born deaf. This early experience shaped his ability to attune to Czar in a deeper, more meaningful way.In Looking for Czar, readers are invited to:Reflect on their own relationships with their petsExplore the possibility of a spiritual connection with animalsLearn how to attune, connect, and communicate beyond wordsFind comfort and healing after the loss of a beloved petThis is more than a dog memoir—it is a story of transformation, connection, and the enduring presence of love.Perfect for readers who love:Emotional and inspirational pet memoirsStories about the human-animal bondBooks on grief, healing, and pet lossSpiritual perspectives on our beloved animals who reach out from beyondBecause some bonds are never broken.
