The Excalibur 5-Tray Stackable Dehydrator has received positive feedback from customers. The machine is easy to use and clean, has a quiet fan, and does not get hot to the touch. Customers have used the dehydrator to dry fruits, veggies, and to make non-dairy yogurt. The unit has a thermostat and temp control, but no timer. Construction is of good quality, and the square shape of the machine is preferred over a circular one. There also were some issues with the product, including an unpleasant plastic smell, no paraflexx sheets available, and a lack of containers for making yogurt. There was one negative review, with the beef jerky made in the unit having a chemical smell and taste.
