INCRA Hinges Editorial Review
The Incra HingeCrafter is a solidly built tool which can be used with the Incra I-Box jig in place of the positioner. However, it requires using the White Castle bits which are specially designed for the tool. The HingeCrafter is used to create hinges of 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, and 3/4 thickness, and wood can be moved across the tool to increase the width. Hinge pins can be made using brass rod available in welding shops. The product has received positive reviews, but some customers complained that the process for making hinges is complicated and requires precision.
