The CALT 1000mm stroke Pull Cable encoder is a high quality and accurate encoder that is suitable for various applications such as hydraulic cylinders. The cable length is 1 meter but it can be extended at extra cost. It can work at 5~26Vdc and maintain accuracy with speeds below 1m/s. It has a wind-up spring inside that balances itself and an electrical cable. The force required to pull the cable starts at 0.3 kgf and peaks at 0.5 kgf at 1 meter length. One reviewer calibrated the encoder and achieved a final resolution of 1077 steps per inch. Shipping from China takes around 10 days but US customers can arrange for local shipping which takes 3-5 days.
