Pacbrake Oil Filter Relocation Kit Editorial Review
The Remote Oil Filter Relocation Kit has garnered a mix of positive feedback and a few Constructive criticisms from customers who have installed it on their Ram 1500 models. Many users appreciate the high-quality components of the kit, noting that it effectively accommodates OEM-sized filters and offers a well-protected location for the filter, which should simplify future oil changes. Installation is generally described as straightforward, though it is advised to have a second pair of hands for added ease. Some users have highlighted that having the proper tools, particularly a 22 mm crowfoot wrench, is essential for a smoother installation process, with many recommending watching instructional videos beforehand. While some remarked that the installation could be challenging without a vehicle lift, most agreed that the effort is worthwhile, as it leads to mess-free oil changes. A few reviews mentioned that the product is perceived as overpriced, which suggests room for improvement in terms of cost-effectiveness. There are also concerns raised about the oil pressure sensor, with reports of failures that may need attention. Overall, the Remote Oil Filter Relocation Kit is well-received for its design and quality, making oil changes more accessible, though potential buyers should be prepared for a somewhat labor-intensive installation process. **
