Gift Essentials Birds Editorial Review
This Gift Essentials Metal Mesh Bird Feeder has a cow design with dangling legs and a hanging chain, and holds approximately 5 cups of birdseed. According to the FAQ section, regular mixed birdseed will fall out, and it is best to use sunflower seed. The feeder measures approximately 17.25" X 12.25" X 2.25" and should be filled with suet in the middle, surrounded by birdseed. Customer reviews are mixed. Some customers love how attractive and sturdy the feeder is and appreciate the ability to hold more sunflower seeds and bird food than other feeders. They also mention that it makes a great gift for bird lovers. However, some customers report the feeder arriving broken or missing parts. They say that the mesh is too small for birds to get the sunflower seeds properly and that regular seed does not work well because it falls out. There are also complaints about the sharp edges and the low quality of the product for its price.
