However, it's sturdy and accurate in normal lighting levels up to 40,000 fc with + or - 3%. It's handy for measuring light intensity from grow lights, and it's easy to use and determine the type of lights needed/brightness in a new office. The product can help one determine compliance with local lighting ordinance. It requires pressing and holding the Power button for at least two seconds to activate it.
