The device is perfect for checking for small amounts of residual magnetism, but not designed to test the strength of magnets. The device doesn't come with a case or calibration certificate. The device is good at detecting stray magnetic fields on airframes. It has helped many users solve their magnetic field troubles. However, some users reported that the device is inaccurate and useless. Some are complaining about the needle getting stuck after a few minutes of use.
