Asmodee Board Games Editorial Review
The Dixit Quest board game expansion is a great addition to the original game, providing players with 84 new beautifully designed cards to enjoy, with a variety of images that appeal to players of all ages. However, it's important to note that it is not a standalone game, and players must have the original game to use the expansion pack. The game is published by Asmodee, which owns the rights to the game, and some sellers have high shipping costs, although this varies widely. In a review from a customer who compared three expansion packs (Quest, Odyssey, and Memories), the Odyssey expansion was their favorite. The Quest expansion was the weakest, with a lot of overly simple cards. The artwork on all the cards is lovely, but the Memories expansion feels less versatile than the other two. Overall, Dixit is a fun, creative game that appeals to players of all ages, with beautiful artwork and imaginative storytelling. Some customers have complained about defective cards with poor printing quality, but this seems to be a rare occurrence.
