The Helly Hansen Women's Crew Hooded Midlayer Jacket is perfect for cooler, wetter weather, designed with a thin fleece lining that provides warmth while still being breathable. It features a fully lined lightweight fleece and zippered underarm vent. However, it should not be worn under another jacket and it does not have underarm zippered vents. Although the back neck pocket cannot be removed, the hood can be tucked into it when not in use. Customers have differing opinions on sizing, some say it runs small while others say it is true to size. For example, a person who is a size 8 exchanged their medium for a large, while another customer who typically wears an XL in other products, found that a L in this jacket was suitable. It is also recommended that if living in warmer climates, then one can use their normal size, but if living somewhere colder, it is best to size up to allow for layers. The jacket has a lot of pockets to store items such as a phone, wallet and keys. Although some customers have issues with the zippers which have metal parts that corrode quickly. It is recommended that one orders a size up because of the fitted shape even though some customers appreciate that it is lightweight but still warm and waterproof.
